I need help with my Venezuela project :(?

Ok i need to pick a venezuelan short story. i have david alizo, luis britto garcia, rafael zarraga, and juan pinto. the problem is that i don't know any of their works. Can anyone give me a brief summary on any of their short stories and relate it to a point in venezuelan history please???
