How do i clean my cuts and cover them? im prone to infection?

iodine? hydrogen peroxide? i also think i have those clear plasters that supposedly promote healing, does that sound like a plan? im an unlucky s.o.b. and usually end up with blood poisoning from simple cuts, even blisters :/

How can I lose about 100 pounds?

I'm a 15 year old guy and weigh about 230 lbs, and am maybe 5' 9".. I've been working out maybe 5-6 days a week for like the past 2 months but haven't been loosing any weight. What can I do to start to lose weight, about 100 pounds. And do it as fast as possible without it being unhealthy. I'm always getting exercise or working out so i got that covered. But I can't exactly eat foods that are that healthy because I just eat whatever my dad makes for dinner, and usually cereal or a pop-tart for breakfast. School starts in about another month so I'll be able to eat better **** then I usually do for lunch. Please help because I really want to lose weight asap, especially since ill be gettin fu*kin jacked from workin out.

Breeches for the hunter ring?

Although I know tons about jumper breeches, I'm at a bit of a loss for the hunter ring. So, for hunter breeches, should they be beige or tan? Also, how much suede should there be? For the last year my periods are every 29-30 days I have never had an irregular period and i have been having however i tested i am 2 days late and it came up negative i did not use the urine from this morning i tested in the afternoon? Also 7 days past ovulation I had like a little pink browinish discharge 1 day only ? Strange

Contrary to all the other answers at this time, you may get more, but get real this is Aug. 22, and your wedding is in less that one month---I would contact her, lay it on the line nicely and just tell her that you have others (even if you have to ask Aunt Sally and Cousin Lucy and you finance it to be hostesses for your bachelorette party) willing to give you a bachelorette shower and since she has not had time to start the planning you are becoming anxious and to "save her the trouble" you had rather get it over with. Saying it this way makes it sound like you are considering her well being which acturally you are not. I'm sorry, but I am not a last minuter and this would drive me absolutely nuts. It is correct wedding etiquette that MOH does not have as some people ume, she does not have to host the bridal shower or bachelorette party. But, as she accepted the honor of to be your MOH, her main focus for the next month should be you. A MOH is supposed to do everything possible to help bride thru this stressful two months and keep you calm and be as helpful as possible on the day of your wedding and has other duties, I can look them up in my Peggy Post Book of Wedding Etiquette, but too late, but repost if you want more info. Her (to me) lack of concern as to booking her ticket, which she is leaving way, way too late. Apparently you are right, her focus is not on you or your wedding plans. There are some what I call "last minute Lucy's, but I cannot stand this and I cannot for something to be "thrown together" at the last minute. I am a planner aheader. She needs to be demoted; but, this will cause dissent and stress which you do not need especially this close to your wedding. Do you have another bridesmaid or two that you can talk frankly with and ask them if they will fill in for her as she is a nice way to put it "not focused". If they are true friends, they should be willing to help out and if you have to help them finance a shower and bridal party (behind the scenes, no one need know as these two will not have had time to get their finances in order yet, they may still offer). As I said the MOH is under no obligation to host a bridal shower, but there are ways and there are ways----all is fair in love in war, can your Mom and a few close friends or aunts/cousins sort of thru the gvine, say oh, how sad Susie's MOH is not being helpful, Susie is not having a bridal shower because she was under the umption that the MOH would handle everything. This has to be done discreetly and you will have to have "no knowledge" of this if asked or approached, just tell the truth, your MOH is being very unco-opertive and has not booked, etc. You may be surprized at how many hens jump in to help when one little chicky is being mistreated. Mother hens love nothing more than to be needed and feel like the Saviour of the day,jumping in to save the cause, atleast that is the way it is in the south. Why, it makes me so mad, if I knew you, I would throw you a wing-dinger of a bridal shower. All pink, fluff, lace parasols and fans, pearls, ambience, or mauve and victorian creme lace or blue and pale yellow and daisies. This is the only way I can think of, except wring her neck, to handle this. You sound too nice. Most people would just ask her to step down, since she seems to not care or does not have the time that you feel the MOH should devote to your wedding. Again, contrary to most opinions, so far, she is not supposed to hold your hand while you go potty, but she needs to do much more and to me this means, having an emergency kit packed for the big day, be sure you eat something, have someone "man" the door so that the changing room does not get crowded with "Oh, I just want a peek at the brider's", have cool water for a room full of hot, nervous women, some Immodium and Tums, etc. needle, thread, scissors, etc. She should be sure that there are two persons to see to the distribution of the flowers, one for the females and one for the helpless men to pin on their bouts., etc. As I stated before, there are many informal, kind duties a true MOH should be willing to perform for you. You would not have picked her if you had not thought she was a good friend; but apparently, she has changed from the person who you thought you knew or has had a change of heart. If I had the heart and it would not tear up my nerves, I would dish her and not have to look at her again. You do not need this and no, you are not being a bridezilla, contrary to most opinions, you have every right to be concerned this close to the wedding, most showers would be well over by now and the bachelorette party should be atleast a week before the wedding, giving "the partier;s" time to re-cover.

Japanese accent?

I'm American English speaker and I'm learning Japanese and Chinese (been doing Japanese longer). I was wondering about my accent. When I speak normally, I can pronounce the words correctly but even though I'm from America, I can tell that if Asian people heard me speak, they'd know I'd have an accent. I can do that soft nasal kinda childish Japanese girl accent (like Morning Musume). Also when I don't speak Japanese like that, I think I drag the vowel sounds out too long. Would it be better for me to continue the softer voice (my voice isn't deep anyway) or just speak with an American accent? Would it be easier Japanese people to understand me if I did that accent or would they just laugh if they heard me trying to imitate it? Please post. Thanks.

Can a book have more than one publishing place?

As an earlier poster said, write it as Boston-New York. In truth it shouldn't matter which one you put (Boston, New York or both) but I am aware there are some teachers out there who get maniacal about such things. I would suggest simply asking your professor. They won't mind, and that way you can work out exactly what they want. They will easily be able to see your problem and that it lists two publishing places and you are confused as to which one to write. But the general rule of thumb in academic writing like this, if in doubt, include all the available information. No one minds if you add too much information, but they do care if you don't have enough.
