We also had a memorial for those who have fallen. Last Year we were fortunate enough to have the traveling Viet Nam Memorial be here for our founders day. Many who attended today were Viet Nam Vets. The irony, most of the organizing is done by Viet Nam Vets Against the War. What so many fail to understand, one can still vehemently oppose a war, but still honor those who have fallen, many no older than teenagers.

If you isolate a pure natural substance and then synthesize the same substance in the laboratory, upon comparison you will see that both samples will have exactly the same properties. This is because the two chemical entities are identical whether they are natural or synthetic. If the synthetic sample did not exhibit the same properties as the natural sample, then that means you didn't actually make what you were trying to make and you will have to go back and reevaluate your synthesis.

My pilot light will not stay alight!!!?

I have changed the thermocouple, the over heat thermostat and the gas valve, all in an attempt to get my Potterton Puma 80 up and running again but the pilot light will not establish and stay alight. Can any one suggest why this might be, or what I can do to get it working again? I have checked for loose wires and cannot see any. Is there any way to tell if the thermostat has shorted out? Any suggestions would be gratefully received...
