My tailbone has been painfull for over a year now. im not 100% sure what i did to it. what can i do?

i have had a painfull tailbone for a little over a year now. i had mri's and x-rays. they say its not broken or anything but it looks like a major angel. they gave me a epidurel injuection and it helped alot for 2 months. the pain came back so i got another one. its been almost 3 weeks since i got the other one and it sill hurts. shoul i get it removerd or might it heal sometime?
