Biologists!!!! What is the genotype of the parent???

Because the gene in question is on the X chromosome. The father is an emizygote: he only carries 1 copy of the gene since he doesn't have 2 X chromosomes. His X carries a "wild type" allele, but since he can only give the Y to his male offsprings, they only have the X of the mother, which has a "white eye" allele. Females on the other hand are heterozygote, all of them having 1 "wild type" allele, given by the father, and 1 "white eye" allele, given by the mother.
