Diaper Genie II clamp problems?

I have tried looking on the Playtexbaby site and it showed a decent picture of how the clamp works. I also tried the search engine to find out how this thing is put together. But the problem is, is that the clamp and the other piece that's attached to the film cutter came apart completely from the unit itself. It's not obviously broken that i can see, but it looks like there's just two parts that came off and i have no idea how to put them back on. I've tried all sorts of positions i just need a how to of how to basically put the clamp together again.
