BBC News, can we know the world without watching.?

We yanks only get the fantastic coverage provided by BBC 1 hour a day. Why do Commonwealth people with this amazing resource to know the world, still support CW military involvment in old Empire countries lost 50 and more years ago? USA news is so lame, and non-comphrehensive, that USA citizens don't get the same information to make decisions until too late.
