Will it ever be possible to fit all of history on an ROM device?

Does anyone think that data storage technology will ever be refined enough to fit all of history (everything that ever happened sice the beginning of time) on a single handheld ROM device such as a CD or flash drive? and if so, when will this technology be available and what will be the approximate data size needed?
